Weak Week
It’s been one week since my last day of work.
I do feel bad, lazy, helpless, and what-not, but I figure, I’m an American and I pay taxes for unemployment insurance. Why not use it? It’s my duty to this country that I love! OK, maybe that’s a little much, but I don’t plan on using it again, put it that way.
So, what to do with myself? I have (of course) been looking for new work. Today I sent out 12 emails to the heads of several private schools, charter schools, and districts to try and spark some interest. The more I think about it, the more I wanna teach and try to coach football… if not now, then when?
I have some other little things to do, but my time is somewhat empty… not bored yet, but I thought I’d ask you out there in internet land for suggestions.
I am going to do some more Wiki editing, including working on the Wikiversity geology section.
I have been working out more… bike and weights.
I’ve been reading a lot more…
I’ve been getting into Avatar (and not the blue-people one, the real one) again.
But other than that, what should I do with myself?
Oh, and there’s always making more LEGO real people… I got plenty of blank slates…
P.S. Check out this video that I had NOTHING to do with, really… after a brief intro, you get to see/hear things fall 215 feet to a watery splash down a metal well… it is REALLY cool, even though the video can not do it justice to the sensation in real life, so I’ve heard…

that is pretty fucking rad … and whoever was involved with that video is the coolest guy/girl ever …
You’re keeping yourself adequately busy (: The video is great!
oh yeah … i was gonna say work out, but you’re already doing that … here’s a website that has a few ideas about minimizing your time while maximizing your workout with some really efficient full-body moves … diet tips too … http://www.crossfit.com/

Ha! I think I need LESS efficient right now, but it seems like a neat website, thanks.
hey matt!
you could always try snowshoeing… i have some shoes and i know someone who would love to go for a walk in the woods…. she may have wednesdays and fridays off… if you get bored…
awesome… love the sounds… and i love avatar: the last airbender!
could always watch movies/tv shows while working out… some ones you should rent: How I Met Your Mother is HILARIOUS as is Big Bang Theory, although maybe you might like Big Bang Theory more… just some ones you can rent and catch up on…
too bad football season is over b/c you should try to volunteer as an asst coach or something… just to put your foot in the door for a hs or something so that you have some sort of experience high school football
hope you get some bites from the schools!

I got shoes too! I do like doing that… when did your schedule change?

Love Big Bang… just nerdy enough for me. I like your plan. My thoughts are to try and get a school or two interested now, so then I could volunteer with them (which could include class and sport time) and see it in action before I have to decide and accept a job for next fall.
Happy (your) Earthquake Day!
How about tutoring or being a manny for a while?
You know, a friend of ours is about to pop, so manny is quite possible…
You know, there is no wiki page for your phobia, just 13th phobia… you should make it!
