Puppy love…
Several very important things have happened since my last post:
Shawn and I, fresh off our one year anniversary (love ya Shawn!), have decided to move! It’s not much of a move, only 4 blocks away, but it has several advantages:
1. Only 7 houses from Shawn’s dad and li’l bro
2. Cheaper
3. I don’t have to wear pants (i.e. no roommates)But most importantly, it has a backyard, which allows us to get:
ONYX!
She’s a mutt of some kind. This is what we were told about her when we found her on KSL, a local classified site in Utah.
-half German Shepherd, half Blue Heeler
-picked up on a roadside at 5 weeks
-2 weeks later, college kids that picked her up realized she was too much of a handful
-somewhat trained (potty and sitting)As you can see from the pics, I’m not sure what to believe about her breed.
She is all black except for little white tips on her sternum, paws, and tail. Snow really stands out on her.
The strangest thing about her is the tail, which is quite curly. Based on that, I’m not sure what to believe about her… so her age and eventual size are mysteries.
Her sleeping habits, including growling, whimpering, and stiffness, are a close second in the strange category.
So, that’s the new dog and new place. As we get moved in, we’ll have some kind of move-in shin-dig, and better pics will be taken. Right now, the pics would show piles of stuff, which no one wants to see…
P.S. Check out this awesome giant clock we got!
