  • Well, I was missing you, yes I am talking to you…

    …and you…

So I went ahead and got DirecTv.  130 channels on 2 TVs plus local
channels for $45/mo.  I thought it was worth it, even if my
roommates don’t want to pay for it (which they don’t).  It should
be ready toward the end of the Olympics.  I also recently bought
some more RAM for ol’ Vicky.  That IS my computer’s name, by the
    way, Vicky.

By the way, here is a list I just found of the biggest contributers to
dubya’s campain over his career (I guess Enron is allready off the
list, since the company is caput).  If you are just as disgusted
as I am, you will boycott these companies.  I am cancelling my
Miami Dolphans MBNA cerdit card today.  And I will stay loyal to
    Macs forever now.

    The list:

    Morgan Stanley

     $705,325

    Merrill Lynch

     $660,329

    PriceWaterhouseCoopers

     $622,898

    UBS Americas

     $596,250

    MBNA Corp

     $586,175

    Credit Suisse First Boston

     $495,050

    Goldman Sachs

     $489,874

    Ernst & Young

     $461,839

    Citigroup Inc

     $389,850

    Vinson & Elkins

     $374,050

    Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu

     $341,350

    Lehman Brothers

     $333,525

    Bear Stearns

     $318,530

    Bank of America

     $304,750

    Wachovia Corp

     $280,760

    US Government

     $247,477

    Microsoft Corp

     $246,990

    JP Morgan Chase & Co

     $246,355

    Ameriquest Capital

     $243,650

    Haynes & Boone

     $236,100

P.S. This CD below, “Rock Against Bush, Vol. 2″, is great.  Not
only does it have a lot of great, rare songs by famous groups (Green
Day, No Doubt, Foo Fighters, Bad Religion, Op Ivy, Rancid, Flogging
Molly, etc.), but it alos includes a bonus DVD which has music videos
(Bad Religion, Flogging Molly, NoFX), comedy (extended version of Will
    Ferrel’s Bush commercial that
you can’t see on the website), and political commentary (6 shorts about
the current regime).  Best of all, it’s usually less that $10 and
it goes to a anti-Bush cause.

  • Way to waste your money, Matt.  Bush told you to spend, so you got $45/month TV.  That’s good use of your grant money.  I’m going to report you to NSF.

  • Matt, I miss you too. But I think you were talking to John Stewart…..
