Tomorrow, 8 AM, we’ll be off to DV/OV. I’ve heard that scientists are finding plants they’ve NEVER SEEN BEFORE because of the vast SoCal rains.
This year’s pics should make last year’s look like a pile of puke!
I had to post this, the latest from my advisor:

By the way, I think you would be perfectly capable of doing the field work yourself. I’m just trying to think of how I can be most useful as an advisor.Also, the more I think about this, the more I want you to have another American with you. One possibility is a prospective PhD student who is coming to visit on March 24 or 25. I have mentioned the possibility to her on the phone, but we can meet her and judge from there…

For lack of better terminology, What The Fuck? I must really be out of high school by now. This is quite a 180. I don’t know what I did, but I’d certainly prefer the possitive reinforcement. Plus, she’s gonna buy me a new version of NEWMOD (clay modeling program) for my thesis. Great! The old DOS version that we own here would have killed me.

So, are you being pushed off of the larger piece of rock, or are you defying physics (or are maybe a super-electromagnet?) and flying up to meet the person on top? This must have taken place prior to your head blowing up.
You would be embarrassed for me if I told you how poorly I did on the simpsons quiz… anyway, are you really that far along on your dissertation? Man, I’m sooooooooooooo *jealous*. Congratulations, and like, when are you going to be in DV? Are you going to make any ventures south? Cuz like, we totally should hang out.
oh and I forgot… that picture from last year reminds me of the burger king commercial with the Hootie guy singing in the cowboy outfit… though I’m not sure why

That figurine thingy reminds me of super mario bros where you jump on these floating blocks that collapse as soon as you step on them….all you gotta do is jump and stop on that professor’s head…and you’ve succeeded.

hmm… it depends… usually Texas… I will cheer for OSU, especially in basketball… But I will almost never cheer for texas, unless they are playing maybe miami in football or some extreme case like that.
the game tomorrow should be good. i watched most of your game yesterday, it got a bit scary at the end though and didn’t start off well so it will be interesting to see how it goes. if we show up to play we can beat you all…
So are you going to tell us about DV/OV? Additionally, it’s funny that you left no space for us to comment about your girlfriend. You may elaborate.
