Sorry, wish I had more exciting things to say.
Well, I did meet the new grad student, and guess what. Go on, guess.
She’s from Ridgecrest! That’s right, my little po-dunk, white-trash, redneck mountain town. She lives right off China Lake Blvd., walking distance to my dad’s place. It’s unbelieveable.
Well, here’s a poem, in case you want to read something. I read something on the ‘net that reminded me of this one.
Undated
By Matt AffolterAnd now,
I pledge to you my heart.
It is captured and in your grasp,
The pursuit is over at this joyous moment.
All my lust, all my love,
All my warmth, all my security,
Lies in you, my chosen one.
Also,
I pledge to you my soul.
Enclosed in a dream and delivered upon first sight.
To your ever-waiting doorstep.
All my vision, all my vigor,
All my desires, all my prayers,
Lie through you, my new religion. My mind, however, must remain with me.
Even with a vast majority
Perpetually devoted to you,
A tiny sliver must remain conscious,
Just so I know how lucky I am.

My Nerd score was 74 but I am not nerdy enough to know how to get it onto Xanga….. how did you get it on there?
working out at home just doesn’t do it for me. It is kind of hard to run in place in my living room for 30-40 mins! when the weather gets better i will start running outside again, but for now it is too cold and too icy. argh.
yep. these are both very good stories as well.. I had heard the one about the old woman giving birth. then I had a dream this morning that I, ME, had a baby… no more baby stories!!! it was super weird.
I had to stop reading after you wrote about your lust. We’re friends and all, but at some point…TMI is tmi. jaja.
