  • You Are 27 Years Old

    27

Under 12: You are a kid at heart. You still have an optimistic life view – and you look at the world with awe.

13-19: You are a teenager at heart. You question authority and are still trying to find your place in this world.

20-29: You are a twentysomething at heart. You feel excited about what’s to come… love, work, and new experiences.

30-39: You are a thirtysomething at heart. You’ve had a taste of success and true love, but you want more!

40+: You are a mature adult. You’ve been through most of the ups and downs of life already. Now you get to sit back and relax.

Wow. I think that I act older than that.

So, I’m really getting into Ute basketball. They are good, mainly Andrew Bogut. On Saturday: 11-14 for 26 pts (including 18 of the first 19), 20 rbs, 3 blks, 2 charges taken, and 2 defences on consecuative out-of-bounds plays. On Monday, he had 11-12 for 25 pts, 3 asst (including one behind the back over the head for an amazing alley-oop reverse dunk to Byant Markson), 9 rbs, 1 blk. Oh, and the team shot a school record 80% (24-30) from the field. We are finally ranked, and it is well deserved.

Halftime of Saturday’s game, the football team came out to a standing ovation. I’ve never seen no-one leave their seats for halftime. It was crazy. Not like Elizabeth Taylor, but like the glue. I just hope the Football team can be respectable next year. Luckily, I did not need to leave my seat, because I caught a an ice cream that was thrown into the stands.

I do like Utah’s Huntsman Center (it’s no Pauly), but I do think it is strange to have a UFO over center court.

Fernando just told me how much he is loving Split Lip. They are awesome. If you can get over the bluegrass twang, I highly recomend checking them out.
